Anise
 Star Anise is used essentially the same as Anise Seed, though it's believed to have a stronger, more pungent flavor. It too serves as a benefical aid for soothing indigestion, nausea, & bloating. Star Anise also supports respiratory & bronchial functions.In other application, Star Anise is used for ornamental purposes in dried potpourri blends. COMMON NAMES: Chinese Anise.
Common use: Promotes digestion; alleviates gas, bloating, nausea, belching; promotes healthy respiratory function; flavoring for bitter or unpleasant tasting herbal teas.
