Bearberry

Uva Ursi is undeniably one of nature’s most valuable herbs for supporting bladder and urinary tract health. In fact, up until the mid 1900s, Uva Ursi was listed in official United States medicinal references as an effective urinary antiseptic.

Uva Ursi’s primary natural compounds go to work immediately on all parts of the urinary system - providing soothing support for urinary and bladder discomforts. Its cleansing action helps keep the kidneys and urinary tract flushed, while it alleviates,
excessive water retention and bloating. However to get the maximum benefits, herbalists highly recommend avoiding acidic foods and drinks while taking Uva Ursi. In addition, the herb’s high tannin content may cause stomach sensitivity.
To minimize this effect, start off with the lowest recommended dose or make a cold tea preparation (pour cold water over ? - 1 teaspoon of herb; let stand for 6-12 hours, then drink).
