Calamint

Calamint makes a pleasant-tasting tea, which is used as a stomach tonic to improve digestion, soothe an upset stomach, relieve gas, and to generally strengthen and tone the stomach.


COMMON NAMES: Basil Thyme, Mountain Mint, Common Calamint. NOTE: Calamint nepeta is considered by some botanists to be a subspecies of Calamint officinalis. Both are reportedly used much the same way.




Common use:
Promote digestion; stomach tonic; supports respiratory health.
