Devil's Shoe String

Devil's Shoe String was used by various Native American tribes such as the Cherokee and Catawba for a wide variety of purposes. It's most notably used today to expel intestinal worms & as a mild stimulant tonic.


Externally, Devil's Shoe String is used in baths and as a shampoo said to prevent hair loss. DID YOU KNOW?: The herb reportedly got its name from its hard, tough root stocks.
COMMON NAMES: Hoary Pea, Catgut, Turkey Pea.
