With an aroma & taste reminiscent of Ginger, Galangal has been used effectively down through the centuries for indigestion, gas and nausea. One modern herbal guide also cites this spicy botanical for use in an enzyme-stimulating combination for
improving food assimilation.

Common use:
Indigestion; flatulence; loss of appetite; nausea; prevent fermentation; improves digestion; prevent motion sickness; stimulant.
