Indian Cup is indigenous to the western United States, Oregon and Texas. Classic herbal references cite the root as a folk remedy for digestive disorders, liver & spleen complaints, as well as a general restorative tonic.


Indian Cup Plant was used by a number of Native American tribes for everything, from a medicinal remedy to relieve back pains and menstrual irregularities, to chewing gum (the hardened sap could be chewed and is believed to freshen breath).

Digestive disorders; ulcers; liver and spleen complaints; fevers; general weakness- tonic.
