Maddar

Madder plant is indigenous to Southern Europe, Western Asia, North Africa and cultivated elsewhere. As the Latin name implies, Dyer's Maddar root produces a red dye that was used as a coloring agent. It's a folk remedy for dissolving kidney stones.

While Madder root is not widely used for medicinal purposes, it is reportedly still grown as a medicinal herb in Central Europe and West Asia. It has diuretic properties, and is said to be helpful for eliminating & preventing the formation of kidney and
bladder stones.
