Maiden Hair

Maiden Hair is used in traditional herbal medicine to strengthen the respiratory system. It was reportedly used in the Middle Ages as a tea and syrup for bronchial health.

The herb is also considered to be an expectorant, helpful for loosening & removing thick mucus from the chest and respiratory passages.
Interestingly, because the herb resembles maiden hair, hence the name- it's been used as a hair tonic and in hair rinses to promote dark hair color. COMMON NAMES: Maiden Fern, Hair Of Venus.
