Marsh Mint

Watermint, as the name implies, is found in ponds and marshes of the United States as well as other regions. This direct relative of the Peppermint soothes digestive and gastrointestinal distress, as well as eases menstrual discomforts.

Watermint is also recognized for its astringent action. Astringent herbs tighten tissues, and reduce irritation, secretions and discharge. COMMON NAMES: Marsh Mint, Watermint, Wild Mint.
