Sassafras

Sassafras has been used for hundreds of years as a tonic for the blood and was traditionally referred to as a spring medicine, to purify the blood and to cleanse the system. More recently though it is used for skin and joint health.

Sassafras is found in combination with other blood purifying herbs to stimulate and cleanse the liver of toxins and is an excellent alternative for promoting clear, healthy skin.
Many also find the aromatic herb, responsible for much of root beer's popular taste, a good flavoring to add to herb teas that have a disagreeable taste.
