White Pepper

White Pepper is derived from the dried unripe berries of the pepper vine, but the outer husk has been removed. Its flavor is said to be not as strong as black pepper, but is finer and more aromatic. It is often used in light-colored sauces.

Besides being used as a condiment, White Pepper, like most spices, is a valuable gastrointestinal stimulant, useful for gas & indigestion.
